One of the reasons I started the NEE is that despite being online since 1995, I believe that the internet is still in its infancy. Huge shifts in the economy and our culture are taking place and the pace of change will continue to accelerate.
GM’s stock is at a 50 year low. There used to be a saying, “What’s good for GM is good for the country.” What does that statement mean now? It should be updated to “What’s good for Apple is good for the country.”
Apple sold 1 million iphones in 3 days and those buyers downloaded over 10 million apps. Going in the closest Apple store is like walking into a looting only everyone is paying. Stuff is just flying out the store. The scary thing is it was like that even before the iphone came out last month with the new release. But as I walked to my car through the rest of the mall, most stores I walked past looked like a ghost town. All that was needed was a tumbleweed blowing through the mall to complete the scene.
